CareStar Education Days

This past October and November CareStar employees participated in a series of Education Days, or “Ed Days,” around the state of Ohio.  These twice-a-year seminars allow CareStar employees to learn alongside their coworkers through presentations and hands-on training workshops.

Each Ohio-based CareStar employee attends an Ed Day in either Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus or Canton, while Indiana-based employees attend Ed Day in Indianapolis.  The typical agenda focuses on company-wide updates and initiatives, case manager training, employee benefits, and diversity in the workplace.

“Ed Days are a great way for those in the field to reconnect with their co-workers and develop their skills for our company and themselves” said CareStar Human Resources Director, Kathy Staarmann. 

CareStar Ed Days have proven integral  to the training and education of CareStar employees as they continue to grow and develop their services.  These days serve as the launching pad for company-wide efficiency while enriching the lifeblood of CareStar, its employees.
