Foster Family Spotlight: Phoebe Lipps

Hi, my name is Phoebe Lipps.

I live in a 3 bedroom house North of Indianapolis.  I have a patio with a swing, and I have lots of flowers in my yard.  My home is in a great neighborhood, close to a grocery store, the park and shopping centers. 

My grown children are part of my life and I am looking forward to introducing you to them.  I also like bicycling, walks, music, sewing, quiet time and helping others. I don’t like rudeness, hot weather, being rushed, and not having a choice.

I used to work at Conner Prairie but now I am a home health aide. I have worked with the same families for many years and know how to help with physical care and personal schedules.

I am looking forward to having a friend to do things with.  I can offer a safety and a clean and happy home.  I am a caring, patient person and I have respect for others. I can assure that you will have a healthy diet, and get your meds on times. I hope you will go to church with me, but if you like I will help you find your own church. Together we can do crafts, celebrate holidays and welcome friends and family. I will smile when mistakes happen and I hope that you will smile when I make mistakes.
