Foster Family Spotlight: Linda Hill
Hi, my name is Linda Hill.
I have worked for over 30 years as an Executive Assistant for both local government and private companies. I have also worked as a companion to the elderly for over three years.
I have served as a householder for another agency and was told that my placement was one of the most successful they’d ever had. I also have experience as a group home manager, and I have worked as direct care staff for the developmentally disabled. I enjoy working with this population-- it has brought me much joy and satisfaction.
I work during the day as an Executive Assistant in the healthcare sales field. On my days off, I enjoy having some time alone, doing laundry, reading, and watching the Discovery Channel. I also enjoy going to the mall, library and garage sales. I like activities like working in the garden, making crafts and going to craft
shows, decorating, eating out and ballroom dancing.
I don't care for disrespectful people, large groups of people (concerts, football games, etc.), loud, prolonged noise (loud TV and/or radio) and washing dishes.
I have no pets and live a very quiet life. I would welcome the opportunity to share my home with another person again.
