To meet these demands, CareStar has built an integrated enterprise architecture which defines the business, the software necessary to operate the business and the technologies necessary to support the business operations.
Technical Resources – Application Software
CareStar has developed, in conjunction with The State of Ohio, Department of Job and Family Services, a specialized web-based software to meet the challenges of managing large, statewide case management and quality assurance programs. The CareStar Enterprise System is designed to automate the workflow and processes surrounding all care coordination activities.
These solutions help manage care and cost, better document treatment, and ensure that critical care guidelines and government compliance requirements are met.

Consumer Eligibility Assessment Tool

This tool is designed to determine an individual's eligibility for the waiver home care services. It provides comprehensive information to assess the person's ability to function in the home environment and includes an evaluation of clinical status, health functioning, social functioning and environmental support.

Service Plan

This tool gives case managers the most comprehensive clinical decision support system available for advancing and documenting care management. It helps manage care and helps communications between case managers, providers and the state.

Reporting Tool

This tool is the formal documentation of the investigation and follow-up of all incidents and occurrences that jeopardize a consumer’s health and safety. The detail we capture allows us to track and trend findings and gives us a roadmap for future program improvements.
