Instructions
If you have an infant(s),
please review the information below.
NOTE: Always
use a rear-facing car seat until your infant is at least
the age of 1 and does not exceed 20 lbs. If your
seat has higher weight and height limits, you may extend it's
use accordingly. When your child turns 1 and exceeds the
car seat’s rear-facing height and weight limits OR your
child’s head is within one inch of the car seat top, it
is time to graduate to a forward facing car seat.

If you have a toddler(s),
please review the information below
NOTE: Always
use a forward facing (convertible or combo seat) car
seat until the sat's harness no longer fits your toddler.
At such time this happens and your child exceeds the car seat’s
height and weight limits, OR your child’s shoulders
are above your car seat’s top harness slots, OR
your child’s ears (the top of your child's ears) are above
the the top the car seat, then it is time to graduate to a booster
seat.

you know that….
- SBS is one of the most violent forms of child abuse, accounting
for the majority of severe head injuries in children less
than one year of age. It is the most common cause of mortality
and long-term disability in infants and young children due
to physical abuse.
- One quarter of SBS victims die – the remaining are
often left with brain damage, hearing and/or sight loss,
learning difficulties, seizure disorders, cerebral palsy,
and paralysis.

The Guernsey County Senior
Citizens Center offers a variety of services and recreational activities
to all senior citizens aged 60 and older. Services include quilting,
bridge, crafts, bingo, covered dish dinners, square dancing, line
dancing, musical entertainment, and holiday parties. You may have
a membership at the Senior Center at age 50 or older and participate
in social activities. Membership is a yearly donation of $7.00 but
is not necessary to participate in activities. |
