Providing
short term financial assistance to help eligible veterans
and their families who demonstrate a need and who reside in
Preble County. The commission meets every second and
forth Tuesday of each month to review all applications for
financial assistance. Monetary awards should never be
construed as a pension or compensation type of benefit.
It is Temporary in nature and is meant to prevent undue hardship.
We provide VA benefit
claims filing service for veterans and their dependents regardless

What We Are... Disability Resources, inc. is
a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established to promote and improve
awareness, availability and accessibility of information that can
help people with disabilities live, learn, love, work and play independently.
Who We Serve... We serve thousands of individuals with disabilities
through a multidisciplinary network of service providers and consumers.

disability organizations, independent living centers, rehabilitation

The Access
Center is a non-profit, non-residential center for independent living
funded through Title VII of the Rehabilitation Act and whose board
and staff are comprised entirely of people with disabilities.
Our mission is to ensure that people with disabilities have complete
access to the communities in which they wish to live.
We do so through offering
advocacy, information and referral, independent living skills training,
peer support, our recycled durable medical equipment program and
through assisting individuals transition from institutional settings
to community living.
