Providing short term financial assistance to help eligible veterans and their families who demonstrate a need and who reside in Preble County.  The commission meets every second and forth Tuesday of each month to review all applications for financial assistance.  Monetary awards should never be construed as a pension or compensation type of benefit.  It is Temporary in nature and is meant to prevent undue hardship.

We provide VA benefit claims filing service for veterans and their dependents regardless of residency.  Some of the benefits our Veteran Service officer can assist you with are:

The Access Center is a non-profit, non-residential center for independent living funded through Title VII of the Rehabilitation Act and whose board and staff are comprised entirely of people with disabilities.

Our mission is to ensure that people with disabilities have complete access to the communities in which they wish to live.

We do so through offering advocacy, information and referral, independent living skills training, peer support, our recycled durable medical equipment program and through assisting individuals transition from institutional settings to community living.
