Mission
Statement:
The Trumbull County Department
of Job and Family Services' mission is to administer all programs
with courtesy, consideration, and respect toward applicants/recipients
without attempting to elicit any unnecessary information. Administrative
duties should be performed in such a manner as to secure for every
applicant/recipient the full amount of aid or services to which
he is legally entitled according to program regulations. Assistance
is to be administered in a manner to encourage self-respect and
self-sufficiency.
Services and assistance
should be rendered promptly and humanely with due regard to the
preservation of family life, without discrimination on account
of race, religion, political affiliation, or sex in a manner consistent
with the United States Constitution, Social Security Act, Civil
Rights Act and the Constitution of the State of Ohio.
Vision Statement:
In order to carry out the
agency's mission to its full extent, every employee must have
the necessary training to understand and fulfill their role in
attaining the agency's mission. We must develop a respect for
each other as individuals and share our failures while acknowledging
individual successes.

and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is the nation’s leading
patient-directed organization on the most prevalent mental illnesses
– depression and bipolar disorder. The organization helps
to foster an understanding about the impact and management of
these life-threatening illnesses. DBSA supports research, education
and advocacy on behalf of those individuals living with mood disorders.
DBSA is a not-for-profit
501 (c) (3) organization that has a grassroots network of more
than 1,000 patient-run support groups across the country. DBSA
publishes more than two dozen educational materials about living
with mood disorders, all available free of charge. Its educational
materials have no medical or scientific jargon, and convey a message
of hope and optimism. DBSA advocates in Washington, D.C., on behalf
of people living with mood disorders, providing congressional
testimony and ensuring the voice of the patient is heard. |

TCESC, as a visionary leader in education, provides
high-quality services to school districts and communities
through cost-effective and cooperative programs that promote

Description
The Trumbull County Educational Service Center
provides educational leadership and instruction in the areas
of curriculum development, special education and technology. The
Center employs teachers, therapists, psychologists and other
specialists who work directly with approximately 35,000
students in 20 school districts. In addition, the Center
conducts professional growth seminars for approximately
2000 teachers each year. The Trumbull County Educational
Service Center works in conjunction with the school districts
to provide programs that promote the highest level of learning
for children in Trumbull County, Ohio.
